Request for Bids: 50/50 Public Sidewalk Replacement Program

The City of Rocky Ford is seeking qualified contractors to submit bids for the 50/50 Public  Sidewalk Replacement Program.  This will be for the removal and replacement of a section of the public sidewalk. The existing sidewalk has been marked for removal with white marking paint. Root intrusion may be evident. The selected contractor must include root removal in the proposal if needed.  If selected as the contractor, you must register with the City of Rocky Ford as an approved contractor before performing any work. Contractors may bid on all the properties in the packet or only specific properties.

This program aims to improve our community's sidewalks through a collaborative effort between the city and property owners.

Bid Packet Information and Instructions: Contractors interested in participating can obtain a bid packet in one of the following ways:

• In-Person: Pick up a packet at City Hall, 203 S. Main Street, Monday through Thursday, from 7 am to 5 pm
• Email: Request a packet by emailing the City Manager at smilenski@rockyford-co.gov

Submission Deadline: All bids must be submitted by the end of the business day on May 1, 2025.

Review Process: Bids will be reviewed by the City Council members at the regular council meeting on May 13, 2025.
